HIV/STD Screening
If it has been a while or you have never been tested for HIV or other STD's, then you can come to our drop-in VIP Clinic that we offer every week. During our drop-in clinic you meet with our health education staff and clinicians who know a lot about men's health. You can also get your HIV test results during the same visit! Our HIV testing is always free! Our STD screenings are free for those who qualify and most people do! For those who do not qualify we offer a very low and reasonable rate. EDGE Drop-In Center
Come and kick back at the Edge drop-in center, pick up the latest reading material, or just come by and chat with one of our staff. We have all the current local LGBTQ magazines and plenty of safer sex materials to share! If your in the mood to just come and kick up your feet, then come on over and bring a book or find one here in our collection of LGBTQ related books. Our LGBTQ tobacco prevention and education program "Just For Us" offers local referrals for LGBTQ members who are interested in quitting smoking. Our health education staff can also provide assistance with helping you setup a quit smoking plan that works for you! You can also pick up additional material about quitting smoking, find out about our second hand smoke community advocacy effort and learn about how you can make a difference by helping out.
Comprehensive Risk Counseling Service (CRCS)
Our CRCS is offered through all of our programs and is designed just for you! If you qualify for CRCS, you will meet with one of our health education staff who will meet with you for several sessions. During these session, you will have a chance to talk about what is important to you. Our staff will also help you come up with goal and plan to help you reduce your risk of HIV transmission and other STD's. Some of the topics that you can discuss with your CRCS counselor include; your HIV status, substance use, and relationship concerns.Hombres Unidos Weekly Group
